Hundreds of Teens Rally in Times Square, Feb. 8
While "Change" Is on the Lips of Presidential Candidates, Teens Enact Change
NEW YORK, Feb. 7, 2008—Representing a movement of more than 400,000 teens, hundreds of teens will gather for the RECREATE '08 rally on Military Island in Times Square Feb. 8, 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. EST.
WHAT: Teen Mania's RECREATE '08 Rally
The rally will highlight teens' concerns about the toll today's pop culture is taking on their generation and its "starlet" icons. The teens will showcase what they themselves are doing to RECREATE entertainment, fashion, the arts and the Internet to positively influence their peers. Fueled by their faith, these teens are gaining experience in order to create a healthier pop culture "cool factor" for their generation and generations to come.
WHEN: Friday, Feb. 8, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. EST
