Tens of Thousands Joining T.D. Jakes in Atlanta
MegaFest 2006 Features Top Names in Faith, Business, and Entertainment Including Aretha Franklin, Bishop Paul S. Morton, Dave Ramsey, and Steve Harvey—July 19-22
ATLANTA, May 31, 2006—"MegaFest is just such an incredible experience for people of all walks of life and a way we can come together as family and friends in a spirit of unity"
- Bishop T.D. Jakes
In a summer of soaring gas prices, tens of thousands of people will park their cars, skip expensive driving vacations, and trade traffic frustration for four days of inspiration at MegaFest 2006.
JULY 19-22, 2006-Eager crowds of men, women, and children from across the U.S. and around the world will pack Atlanta's premier venues-the Georgia Dome, the Georgia World Congress Center, Philips Arena, and the International Plaza-for MegaFest 2006. Hosted by Bishop T.D. Jakes, MegaFest 2006 offers a positive, family-friendly experience that includes stimulating workshops, high-energy performances by award-winning artists, and cutting-edge special events.
Bishop T.D. Jakes created MegaFest by combining the best of his most powerful conferences, and innovative events-Woman, Thou Art Loosed! and ManPower-with the high-energy Mega Youth Experience and MegaKidz.
In addition to family-friendly fun, conference attendees will also benefit from free health and wellness testing, health-related screenings, and health education workshops. And once again MegaFest will broadcast live via satellite to inmates in several hundred U.S. prisons.
