MegaFest Returns to Atlanta July 19-22—Exciting 2006 Lineup of Events

ATLANTA, July 12, 2006—MegaFest, the popular four-day event hosted by Bishop T.D. Jakes, is attracting not only huge crowds, but also top musical talent including stars like Aretha Franklin and potential future stars competing at MegaFest 2006 in the finals of a nationwide talent search.

Celebration of Unity Concert-A treat for music lovers, the Celebration of Unity Concert pays tribute to Bishop T.D. Jakes, commemorating his 30 years in ministry. This special evening features the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, who revisits her gospel roots for a spirit-filled performance unlike any her fans have enjoyed since her Amazing Grace project recorded with the late Rev. James Cleveland. Along with the Queen of Soul, the Queen of Gospel Pastor Shirley Caesar joins the musical lineup to deliver the Grammy award-winning performances her loyal fans expect and relish. The concert also includes performances by Donnie McClurkin, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Jeff Majors, Kelly Price, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, and the Grammy award-winning Potter's House Mass Choir.
