CBS Analyst Clark Kellogg & Gold Medalist Tamika Catchings Honored at 2012 “Night of Champions”

XENIA, Ohio, May 8, 2012—The 7th Annual Night of Champions, hosted by Athletes in Action, will showcase sports role models for their actions and character both on the athletic field and off. At the event, Athletes in Action, an international sports ministry, will induct CBS Basketball Lead Analyst Clark Kellogg and Gold Medalist WNBA player Tamika Catchings into the "Hall of Faith."

The "Hall of Faith" award is presented annually to one male and one female from the world of sports, who best exemplify outstanding character, integrity and faith - whether on the field of competition, in the home or in the community. Previous "Hall of Faith" inductees include sports legends Bart Starr, MVP of Super Bowl I and II; Anthony Munoz, NFL Hall-of-Fame member; Leah O'Brien-Amico, three-time softball Gold Medalist; Coach Kay Yow, former head coach North Carolina State; and Madeline Manning Mims, four-time Olympian.
The Night of Champions is part of the Athletes in Action Sports Legend Series, which also includes the Super Bowl Breakfast, the All-Star Breakfast and the Legends of the Hardwood Breakfast (held annually during the Final Four weekend).
