A Walk Through the Library: Defining Evangelism

Visitors enter a circular room that represents historic Billy Graham international conferences for evangelists held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (1983, 1986, and 2000). These conferences were attended by thousands of evangelists from around the world to encourage, equip, and challenge them in their ministry roles.

Three large video projection screens show footage from the Amsterdam conferences. Circling the perimeter of the room in varying heights are images of 24 individuals of differing ethnicities and cultures, representing evangelists working in different areas of the world. Five of these photos light up as visitors hear how Billy Graham and these conferences impacted their lives and ministries. Visitors will also hear how Billy Graham and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association place a high priority on continuing to train international leaders about the importance of evangelism. They also learn about evangelism as defined by Mr. Graham.
