• The Forum of Bible Agencies – North America (FOBA) is an alliance of leading Bible agencies and mission organizations that work together to increase Bible access and encourage engagement with God’s Word.

• FOBA was founded in 1990 with the idea that collaboration and cooperation of its members would significantly increase the speed and scope of Bible translation and distribution.

• The vision of FOBA is to deliver and equip all people in every language group with the most appropriate language, media and cultural forms of Scripture.

• FOBA's goals are to achieve: 


• Greater effectiveness and coordination in Scripture translation, distribution and engagement ministries


• Greater effectiveness and coordination in Bible advocacy efforts


• Enhancement of partnerships for Scripture access and impact at the regional and national levels
