Jay Sekulow’s Statement Regarding the Passing of Chuck Colson

Jay Sekulow is the chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).

WASHINGTON, April 21, 2012—"This is Jay Sekulow, chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice [ACLJ], and I want to say a few words about the passing of my friend Chuck Colson.

Chuck had a significant impact on the work of the ACLJ. One of the very first letters I received after arguing my very first case at the Supreme Court of the United States was from Chuck. His words of encouragement have had a lasting impact on me. He's a friend and a mentor, and he will be missed.

The entire ACLJ family is praying for Patty and the Colson family at this time. We rejoice in the work, in the ministry, in the life of Chuck Colson"
